Document Required to Apply for Gumasta License

You will need the following documents to apply for Gumasta License:

1. Photo of bank challan or treasury receipt
2. Photograph of the shopkeeper (Recent Photograph)
3. Photo of the shopkeeper’s Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport for Identity Card.
4. Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Rent Deed, Photo of any one of the proofs of the shop’s address.
5. Photo of a shop in which the name of the shop is clearly visible.

• If no one other than you works in your shop, then you have to pay a fee of 100 rupees for this.
• If 1-3 people work at your shop, then you have to pay 150 rupees for this.
• If 3 to 10 people work at your place, then you have to pay 200 rupees.
• If you have more than 10 people working then you have to pay 250 rupees. If you get it registered after February 28, then you have to pay rs.500 for it.

If your license is old and it is about to expire, then you can get it renewed for a lifetime because the government of India has now started giving gumasta licenses for lifetime.

How to Renew Your Gumasta License Online

To get the gumasta license renewed, you will have to go back to the website of your state’s gumasta. You log in with your id there.

After which you will get an option to renew your license there. After which you will click there, then you will have to pay back for it.

If you have reduced or increased the number of people in your shop, then you have to correct it accordingly and move forward. After this, your gumasta will be made.
